ProFractional Therapy™

A laser microbeam treats thousands of pinpoint areas of your skin.  Because only a fraction of the skin is directly treated with the laser, healing time is quick and downtime is short.

Conditions that can be treated:

• Wrinkles and fine lines
• Post-traumatic scars
• Acne scars
• Sun spots
• Freckles
• Aging and sun damaged skin

Areas that can be treated:

• Face
• Neck
• Chest
• Hands
• Most other skin areas

Is anesthesia needed?

• Usually a topical numbing cream is all that is needed

How many treatments will I need?

• Usually done in a series of 1-4 treatments spaced 3-6 weeks apart. Dr.Crabtree may also combine this treatment with a microlaser peel or other aesthetic procedures to further enhance your results.

After the treatment:

• Mild redness immediately following treatment , similar to a light sunburn
• Complete healing usually takes about 1-3 days.  Most patients can be back at work and apply make-up in 1-2 days.

SkinTyte™

SkinTyte™ utilizes advanced infrared light technology to deeply heat dermal collagen while continuously protecting the treated epidermis with sapphire contact cooling for maximum safety and comfort. With no need for a topical anesthetic, the energy is delivered in rapid, gentle pulses to promote contraction and partial coagulation of the collagen, initiating the body’s natural healing process. Following treatment, a new foundation of collagen is created leading to increased skin firmness.

SkinTyte™ delivers deep, targeted, and uniform heating to effectively coagulate soft tissue in stimulating collagen contraction and re-modeling. Since there is no downtime, patients may resume their regular activities immediately following treatment. In addition, SkinTyte™ offers fast treatment times, making it the most cost-effective tissue heating device on the market.

Clinical Applications

Safe for all skin types, SkinTyte™ can predictably and effectively treat the neck and face area giving patients a firmer, more youthful appearance. SkinTyte™ utilizes infrared energy to deeply heat soft tissue while protecting the entire treated area with sapphire contact cooling. This heating process causes soft tissue coagulation that tightens tissue and initiates the body’s natural healing process. Following treatment, a new foundation of collagen is created leading to increased skin firmness.

MicroLaserPeel™

Intra-epidermal laser peel that precisely ablates or removes the outermost layers of the skin.  Conditions to be treated include:

• Wrinkles
• Scars
• Acne scars
• Keratosis
• Pigmentary problems

Although the face is the most common area treated, any area of the body can be treated.  Light treatments do not require any anesthesia.  Deeper treatments require a topical numbing cream for the patients comfort.  Normally this procedure is repeated 2-4 times, spaced 6-8 weeks apart, and sometimes more peels are needed to achieve the desired result.  Healing usually takes 3-4 days, and you can expect redness that resembles a sunburn which fades by the third day.  Minor sloughing occurs on day two.  You will experience smoother, healthier, more vibrant skin with significant and immediate change in skin texture and firmness.

Full Field Laser Skin Peel

The laser precisely removes a thin layer of skin allowing the surface to be replaced by younger skin.  Conditions that can be treated include:

• Wrinkles
• Acne scars
• Solar lentigines
• Actinic keratosis
• Hypertrophic scars
• Surgical scars

Depending on the depth of the treatment, numbing cream may be fine for some cases, but for deeper cases, other types of anesthesia may be needed.  Healing time will vary depending on the depth of treatment.  Some redness will be present for several weeks, and most people will need at least 5-7 days before returning to work.

BBL™ Phototherapy (Photo Rejuvenation)

BBL™ broadband light energy allows Dr. Crabtree to precisely treat age and sun spots, small facial veins, and several other types of skin blemishes, including very fine wrinkles.  By selecting the appropriate wave length, or filter, Dr. Crabtree is able to treat a broad range of skin conditions caused by aging and sun exposure.  Skin will be smoother, more vibrant, and have a more youthful appearance.

Conditions to be treated:

• Age spots
• Freckles
• Burn erythema
• Hyper pigmentation
• Small facial veins
• Rosacea
• Red spots (hemangiomas)
• Redness and flushing
• Poikiloderma (redneck)

The BBL™ energy will gently heat skin, stimulating skin cells to generate new collagen, helping to restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending colors and creating a smoother appearance.  It will eliminate many of the fine vessels that cause redness.  Virtually any area of the body can be treated and it usually takes 3-5 treatments at 2-4 week intervals to produce the desired results.  Dr. Crabtree also recommends a booster treatments every 3-6 months to counteract the continuing aging process and sun exposure.  After treatment some redness can occur but is usually gone in a few hours.  Pigmented lesions will turn dark followed by fading and eventually flaking off.  The face will feel smoother, fine lines and pores will be less noticeable, sunspots and uneven pigmentation will fade.

Usually no anesthesia is required however some people prefer a topical numbing cream for their own comfort.
